The Nelson’s Project

Tony Y  Remodel

This homeowner deserves all the credit for having such a bold vision for this bathroom.   We had so so much fun taking this bathroom through an amazing rejuvination.  We don't do remodels but we love to rejuvinate cabinets.  The cabinets and bottom walls were a beige wainscotting paneling with a very aged look.  We added a base to the bottom of the cabinets to raise them up, pushed back the center cabinet to remove the "hip banger" and of course the customer added a new counter top.  We also painted the walls, and painted the paneling white.  This bathroom now has an amazingly bold look.  What a fun project.

These cabinets started as a light woodgrain, very popular in the 80's.  The customer wanted to brighten up the kitchen by changing the  light fixtures and painting the cabinets.  We fixed the ceiling hole left by the electrician so that you couldn't tell it was there.  We also had to do some very strong prep on many of the doors since they showed heavy wear & tear.  We also changed the pull for the doors and drawers to make it look more modern.  This was a beautiful kitchen rejuvenation.

This customer recently bought this home, and even though it had a very attractive kitchen, it wasn't style she wanted.  We not only did we have  to paint the cabinets, but also the kitchen ceiling and the whole house.  We also changed the pulls on the doors and drawers.  This house now looks like a modern Florida home by the water instead of a cabin in the woods.
